Wout Vandenhaute

Wout is a system engineer specialized in Linux. At Open Circle he takes care of the setup and maintenance of the container services. He is also responsible for automating various processes.

In the past ten years, Wout has worked as a system engineer, radar technician and IT system administrator. He has been employed at a mountain railroad, in the film industry, at the airport and at an IT service provider.

Even during his bachelor studies in Computer Science, he enjoyed experimenting with Linux. Wout completed a basic education in electronics before switching to IT because of his passion for systems and technology.

In his free time, Wout likes to be out in the mountains. He hikes and climbs in the summer and goes skiing touring in the winter. Traveling is also a great passion of his.
