Open Circle, headquartered in Zurich, has been offering IT solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises since 2001 and today employs over 40 people. With the self-developed “Swiss Business Cloud“, Open Circle offers SMEs a flexible ICT infrastructure from its data centers in Zurich and Bern. Customers benefit from secure access to their personal IT solutions worldwide without having to take care of it themselves. Consulting and support round out the offering.


The dream of unconventional IT solutions

With the firm conviction that every company is entitled to its own independent IT, Young Solutions was founded in 2001. Even a good 20 years later, as Open Circle, we develop IT solutions far from the mainstream and ensure the digital sovereignty of our customers in the best possible way.

Young Solutions AG


On November 27, 2001, Young Solutions AG is founded by four students in a basement in Kloten, not far from Zurich Airport.



With a degree in business informatics, some ideas and little money, Young Solutions moves into its first «office» on the top floor of a Honda garage in Zurich.

Young Solutions moves into new offices at Albisriederstrasse 243 in Zurich-Albisrieden.

IT-Administration Cockpit


Young Solutions introduces Webportal cockpit and IT administration. Now customers can administer their cloud themselves and manage access rights at the click of a mouse.

ISO 9001 Zertifizierung


Young Solutions receives the globally recognized ISO 9001 certificate for its quality management system.

Telefonielösung mit WWCOM


Together with its partner wwcom, Young Solutions offers a purely Internet-based telephony solution.



On May 12, 2016, ITIGO AG is founded.



Young Solutions grows and needs new offices. Move to Freilagerstrasse 32 in Zurich-Albisrieden takes place.



Information security is a focus and Young Solutions is getting certified for the ISO 27001 standard.



Young Solutions complies with all data protection requirements from the GDPR and is therefore GDPR-compliant.



Young Solutions becomes ISO certified. The certificates for cloud services security (ISO 27017) and personal data protection (ISO 27018) are also obtained.



Young Solutions AG merges with ITIGO AG and becomes Open Circle AG. This expands the range of services and the team grows to over 30 employees.



For its 20th anniversary, Open Circle releases new branding.

We make great efforts in the area of data security and sovereignty. We host your data in secure, state-of-the-art Swiss data centers operated by Swiss companies. We build our solutions redundantly wherever possible and reasonable; if one system fails, a second one kicks in. We regularly perform penetration tests and uncover potential vulnerabilities in the system. We are also ISO-certified and regularly audited internally and externally. We conduct cybersecurity training, have comprehensive business continuity management and a Chief Information Security Officer who is responsible for everything.

A proven approach


Determine requirements

We get in touch and get to know each other in a conversation. We introduce each other and talk about your business model as well as your IT, challenges and goals. In a second meeting we determine your needs. We talk about expectations and gather detailed information about locations, computer workstations, regulations, specialized applications, budget and schedule.


Evaluate suitable solutions

Based on your challenges, goals and specifications, we evaluate which of our IT solutions and expertise make sense for you. We create an individual and concrete offer with initial situation, requirements, solution ideas, design and description and present it to you and your business colleagues.


Setup, rollout & onboarding

After your «go» we create an exact schedule. We procure the required hardware and set up the solutions. We configure the devices, install them on site and train your employees. At the go-live, we are on site and make sure that everything works for the IT users.


Running operation

Our operations team takes care of the operation of your IT solutions. This includes monitoring, backup, updates & lifecycle, software management, vulnerability scan and much more. If required, we accompany or take over the onboarding and offboarding of your employees. The support is available 24/7 for your concerns.


Customer Success

Customers receive their own personal Success Manager. This person is actively in contact with you and knows your business model. At status meetings – periodicity is determined with you – IT projects are driven forward. The account manager acts as an interface between you and our technical team. At regular relationship review meetings, the Success Manager ensures that your IT goals are being met.
