Direct customer contact is important to Stefan Escher, which is why he is committed to fact-based problem solving on a daily basis. Driven by his passion to deliver “Happy IT” that is simple and offers maximum flexibility, he always focuses on customer benefits and, in the role of CEO, motivates his cadre and their employees to deliver top performance.
Stefan looks back on more than 20 years of experience in IT: He had already built up his first networks in his childhood, started his IT apprenticeship at Siemens Schweiz AG in 1998 and obtained the Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency (EFZ) in 2002. Subsequently, Stefan attended the IT pioneer training of the Swiss Army, which he still supports today as a militia officer.
From 2002 to 2005, he completed his business informatics studies at the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen. His diploma thesis at that time – for him as well as for two fellow students – delivered the foundation stone of today’s Swiss Business Cloud. Stefan gained his specialization in a master’s degree program at the University of Liechtenstein in Business Information Systems. From 2007 to 2015, he managed various IT projects in the federal administration and is still active as a consultant today.
Stefan Escher is a founding partner of the former Young Solutions AG. As Delegate of the Board of Directors, he continues to develop the corporate strategy together with his colleagues on the Board.
