Initial situation and challenge

Before working with Open Circle, Schächli Baugenossenschaft’s IT was managed by Bluenetsystems AG in Affoltern. However, this collaboration proved increasingly problematic: response times were very long, some callbacks were not made at all, and technical problems were not taken seriously.

Solution: Strategic partnership with Open Circle

Open Circle implemented a modern IT solution tailored to the needs of the small cooperative, replacing the previous terminal server environment. Employees were given laptops managed by Open Circle, and all data was securely stored in Nextcloud. In addition, the entire network infrastructure was migrated to Open Circle and telephony was migrated to People Phone.

Another advantage of the changeover was cost optimisation: unnecessary licences from the previous provider, such as expensive Microsoft Office 365 E3 licences, were replaced with more cost-effective alternatives. In addition, switches were installed to connect all devices and the camera system was upgraded.
