Data recoverable for two years

Is it important for your company that the data is recoverable in the long term? With Open Circle’s long-term backup, your data is kept available for two years. This means that significantly more versions of your data are available than with a conventional backup. We can also easily restore old storage levels.

What you can expect

Backup plan

Open Circle makes a daily backup and holds this for two weeks. We also make four weekly backups and one monthly backup per month. We make one annual backup per year. The oldest backup is two years old.

Recovery time (RTO)

During recovery, we copy the data from the backup server to the live server. Individual files are available again in a few minutes. Large amounts of data can take several hours.

Time between backups (RPO)

We create a backup every day. Thus, the RPO time is maximum 24 hours for data from backups of the last 14 days.

Two backup locations

The backups are stored twice, in Zurich and Bern.
